I believe creativity is a gift that we all have, and since unwrapping mine, I have been on a wild ride that has challenged and excited me. Somehow during the hectic and exciting process of designing entertainment packages for my clients in Australia and New Zealand, I manage to find time to pursue some of my other creative passions. I’ve won 6 major International design awards at the World of Wearable Arts in NZ, Designed Costumes for a Broadway Musical, Built props, costumes and sets for a professional theatre, I’ve created, performed in, and toured full length Improvised comedy shows. I won both the NZ and Australian National Theatresports championship title, I’ve been an Artist in residence as a set designer and mask creator, Studied Mask carving in Bali, and performed in International Street theatre festivals in NZ, Australia, Holland, and Canada, and made an appearance on an Australian TV Soap-Opera as a Gargoyle. Then...just for the hell of it I've dabbled in Pottery, Poetry, Painting, Glass blowing, Learnt the Guitar, Life Drawing and Photography, I got married to myself (we're very happy) in Las Vegas by Elvis. Then to cap it off I surfed a tsunami. ( ok that’s a slight ‘creative push’ but I was in Christchurch surfing during the major Earthquake in Feb.2011 ) I'm exhausted just thinking about it - check out some examples of my work |
